Tenerife, an area of green pine forests, black sand, red rock formations, charcoal-grey lava fields, and white clouds that skirt around El Teide, Spains high peak. It really is an island of many different colours.

We have chosen Puerto de la Cruz as our base which gives you the chance to explore of all of this and more during our stay on the Northern end of the island.

We visit the Anaga Peninsula a beautiful coast with laurel forests cushioned in moss; Las Canadas and its spectacular moonscape; Teno and the Oratava Valley - lush fields and gardens embraced by pines. The majestic El Teide a walk encapturing great views of its hulking presence. No season is without colour with profusion of wild plants and flowers around the island a living tapestry.

We offer a selection of rewarding walks with breathtaking views of the neighbouring islands. The walks will generally follow well-marked trails that cross the most incredible kaleidoscope of landscapes. Passing isolated villages on old cobbled trails.
