The Brecon Beacons provide some fantastic walks and a landscape that offers a legacy of unparalled proportions with spectacular mountain ranges. Stiff climbs are rewarded by some splendid panoramic views of the Welsh mountains, Bristol Channel and Malvern Hills.

We shall be staying in Brecon, a historical market town based in Mid-Wales. This is a town where you will enjoy losing yourselfif not only in the narrow streets and passages lined with Georgian and Jacobean shopfronts, but in the timelessness about the town.

Our selection of classic circular walks of the area to include a traverse of Pen-Y-Fan, Corn Du and Cribyn, which are the three main summits of the Beacons crest. Pen Y Fan being the highest mountain in Southern Britain.

We shall take in the dramatic waterfalls at Ystradfellte, a walk from Hay Bluff over the Dragons Back Ridge and Offers Dyke Path. An ascent of Fan Fawr where we can look over Pen Y Fan & Skirrid Mountain. Transport will be provided to take us to and from each days walking.

The Wellington Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Brecon which overlooks the monument of the Duke of Wellington himself.

Breakfasts will be taken in the hotel,  with nights out at
local restaurants.
