Accommodation
Our accommodation will be in small, friendly and comfortable hotels or family guest houses with en-suite facilities on most occasions.

All our accommodation has been selected for its location and character.  This will give you a chance to experience the culture of the country you have chosen to visit.
Food & Drink We aim to show you the best and most interesting varied cuisine for the region you have selected.  The dishes that will be on offer will be representative for that area.  With some of the finest selection of sea food, meats  and locally produced goods including cheese, hams and excellent wines.  The opportunity to experience some good wines and coffee on many occasions.




Meeting new friends
Our walking holidays have an outstanding reputation for meeting new friends, developing long lasting friendships, sharing new experiences together and most of all - having fun!.  We aim to keep our group together as best we can so we all get to know one another and become a family unit by the end of the holiday.



Flora & Fauna
You will without question see a diverse range of  trees, wild flowers, birds and animals during most of our holidays.  It is common for us to see vultures, eagles and other large birds of prey which are really quite amazing!

Our Aim
At High Plains Drifters our aim is to walk at a pace that allows us time to absorb the surroundings, and chat amongst other members of the group.  Allowing time for picnic stops and take in the beautiful views that are all around us.

We usually stay in small hotels, those full with character, and have a reputation for good food and warm, friendly welcomes.  Walking, good food, fine wines and making new friends are the general theme of our holidays.  They are aimed at those with an interest in walking, the outdoors, and a wide range of other interests including wildlife, and flowers.
