Zell am See, an area of character, wonderful cafes and bars and picturesque scenery. The beauty of Zell am See offers us everything for the active and relaxed amongst us.

We have great walking ahead of us with a lovely walk around the lake at Zell possibly walk half way and take a boat back. Some wonderful views to be had of the Hohe Tauern National Park mountains. The highlight of the week will be the walk over to Saalbach with some breathtaking scenery and not forgetting a magnificent walk on the Kaprun Glacier!. The lake and cable cars can be reached easily in a few minutes.

We have a choice of summer lifts available to us in Zell to take us to the mountains, where we shall have a number of walking routes on offer. Lift passes will be available locally.

Traditional mountain huts are a plenty for those well earned refreshments along the way! Some more challenging walking in the National Park and the ridge walk from the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier offers some stunning panoramic views.
